The 2024 conference brought together vision professionals from across the newly unified Pacific Northwest chapter. Featured keynote speakers Joe Strechay and George Abbott. Conference strands focused on CVI and Assistive Technology. Included full-day Thursday intensives covering Movement & Mobility and Assistive Tech with CATT-NW.

This conference marked the first gathering after the formal merger of the Oregon AER and Washington AER chapters into the unified Pacific Northwest AER.

Held at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, the 2023 conference explored themes of collaboration and innovation in vision education and rehabilitation services.

A virtual conference continuing the chapter’s commitment to professional development during the transition period back to in-person gatherings.

The “Connecting the Dots” virtual conference provided professional development opportunities while in-person gatherings remained paused. Featured multiple breakout sessions and networking opportunities.

The 2020 joint PNW AER and Oregon AER conference was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was to be a landmark joint gathering at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA.
